Don’t try to understand how these form of art is made. No one understands it. I can give you the best explanation and am good at explaining things. After telling you this and that I would kindly give you some old publications where you may get a feeling of machine art, of art generators I developed.

Then you might be stunned that what you may call the grammar of computer art is still the same. Nevertheless, if you compare a telephone your grandparents used with a smartphone you will see some differences — if you do more with the machine than a phone call. You are using a smartphone day by day, so you are used to it and not scared of what is happening inside. Sometimes you do? You know people who left Facebook and Twitter because they felt it is breaching their privacy but they still sleep with their smartphones in hand? Is this Not Sand, Not Sound? Yes, I am in a way a time traveller.
The form of art I create now [and the ways this art is often presented] is dealing with similar effects. I was a pioneer in computer graphics design and was lecturing about this as a form of art at times when not many would understand and see it as the beginning of the digital age.

Now again, 50 years later, being older and wiser, I create and design in a unique way, one that will surely be copied, but I claim that I was already there.
I sell unique pieces and serials. I offer also copies in the WebMetaversum and in immersive worlds. That’s why the signature varies. The unique pieces have an INK, you may say a stamp which gives you the full ownership like when you buy an original piece from Dali. This INK is in fact a code line that expresses the unique Ekphrasis of the work. In other words the genesis of the creation.
The serials I sign by Kunst Blau. Also illustrations I sign this way. I got known as an art curator and published many artists, among them the most known ones. I created an art calender with works by Bryn Oh. Also, I don’t want to miss mentioning Molly Bloom who left the digital art world behind, but before she did she gave me all her creations for conservation. The conservation of digital art is a museal field I am deeply involved, but this doing is not what counts here. Here I am a creator. I am an artist. I once presented my early works to Herbert W. Franke. He invited me to show my creations to his students. I think I explained it well, because the dean of the faculty offered me a lectureship. I began as an artist with tools of the late 70s and now I am back using tools of the now. I use Artificial Intelligence.

Enjoy what I create and dive into the work. The Ekphrasis to tell goes only for unique pieces. The buyer gets the phrase and the descriptive tags with the work in a sealed envelope (or the digital expression if the person understands to deal with such things, like private keys.) The phrases for the serials and for works shown in virtual worlds will not be given. They can be seen as limited prints or copies of a work.
I also create personal paintings. I use the word paintings because the language of the world is changing. Talk to me about your dream, about the gift you want to hand over and I will create. You pay for a unique piece only when the work makes you happy.
